Can't add Three as payment option

Can't add Three as payment option

Hi, 

 

Three payment option not appearing when I log in via Android app nor gmail account.  Gmail account email address is the same as the email on my Three account.  My Three mobile number is the number on the gmail account.  Is there something else I need to do for it to appear?

 

I reviewed a number these but for the people you helped it doesn't seem like they did anything, did Three just enabled something so Google payments could occur?

Hi, @Add_40525 welcome to 3Community 👋 I'd love to help you get your Google Play Store payment method updated.

 

When you're in the Google Play store under the "Payments and subscriptions" select "Payment Methods" page where you can add the 3Billing can you select 'More payment settings'? You'll be redirected to the Google Pay website, in the top-right corner you'll see your account icon, can you click on the icon & then if you have more than one email address make sure you have the correct one selected. You may only have one email address listed & if you do all you need to select is 'Manage your Google Account'.

 

 

You'll see at the top of the screen a side scroll bar with Home & Personal info, scroll the bar over until you see Payments & Subscriptions, in this section, you'll see payment methods & Manage Payment Methods. You should see 3Pay listed with an option to remove it. Can you remove the payment option & once that's done go back to the Play Store & try to add the 3Pay again? Let me know how you get on?

While we wait for the team to get back to me can I ask you to try the above steps on your mobile phone once more? I can see from the screenshot you sent that under 'More options' there's 'More payment settings'. Can I get you to click on this & follow the rest of the steps Stacey gave you? 

 

When I click on 'More options' it just opens up the webpage in the browser on my phone with an 'Add Payment Method' button, but when you click on that, it options up a new webpage it prompts you to input credit card details.  Two screen shots below
