Don’t you just love buying a brand-new phone? It feels so lovely and fragile when you unwrap it from the box 😍

 

Here at Three, we want to preserve that feeling for as long as possible! In case disaster or an accident strikes, it helps to be covered by Three SOS insurance.

Did you know that you can add insurance to your phone and receive cover straight away when you open a new Bill Pay account, or order an upgrade? If you forgot to apply insurance to your order, don't worry, you still have 180 days to contact us and get insured!

 

What about Prepay phones, you say? Yes, you can add insurance to these too! Either when you buy the new phone or within 180 days by calling 01 2932810 😊

Phones have evolved since the first commercial mobile phone in 1983! These days, we use our phones for everything from calls and SMS, to online shopping, banking, streaming, and much more. What a leap! Apart from insuring your phone, it's always a good idea to be vigilant. Back to Three SOS

Three SOS is underwritten by Zurich Insurance plc and offers you a fast and simple solution if disaster strikes, resulting in loss or damage your phone. With Three SOS, your phone is protected against accidental damage (including water damage), theft, and loss, regardless of whether you are a Bill Pay or Prepay customer.

 

The policy also covers your accessories (up to €150) and a courier service so that your phone can be delivered to your door. You are also entitled to a ‘talk & text’ loan phone on request, so you aren't off the grid while waiting for your claim to be processed. Mobile cover starts from €3.99/month and allows for up to two claims in any 12 month period, beginning from the date of the first claim.

 

One thing to remember is that with any insurance policy, there is always an excess fee, and the same is true with Three SOS.

 

How to Claim:

Get in touch with our Messaging team or call 1913 to suspend your SIM within 48 hours of loss or theft. Remember to also report your loss to the Gardaí within 48 hours. Complete the Three SOS claim form for loss, theft or damage. Ensure your form is stamped by the Gardaí for both lost and stolen claims. And don’t forget that your registered SIM must be in your phone at the time of the incident.
