Vodafone Ireland have recently started issuing ESims in ROI. I think Three should follow suit soon, handsets such as iPhone only allow dual sim using one of these
No issues sending/receiving SMS here. eSIM on iPhone 11.
Now if it makes any difference I ported back in this week once eSIMs became available so maybe the issue is for SIM-eSIM migrations? Did you all try removing the physical SIM from your phone and restarting in case that is tripping anything up?
@Kildare_P Sim extracted, iPhone SE 2022 Restarted and also Reset. eSIM reinstalled also. I can receive but not Send SMS. As I already said, it’s probably just incorrect “Message Centre number” being used.
This is serious now. I’m also only receiving SMS from Three network and not others. Can’t send to any network. Not sure about 2FA but if not I’ll be in real trouble.
Im with eSim on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and everything is working fine, did a test with 2 different friends one with 48 and the other with GoMo and my phone are sending and receiving text messages normal
If you set up a new eSIM or insert a new SIM card into your iPhone or iPad, you may need to download the network provider settings for your new network provider.
To see the version of network provider settings installed on your device, tap Settings > General > About and look next to Network Provider. To see additional network provider information, tap the version number. To verify that you have the latest network provider settings installed, contact your network provider.
